Key Responsibilities

• To carry out functions related to the daily operations of the fixed income securities desk, in line with the laid down guidelines/ procedures in the Primary dealer policy and in the treasury policy.
• Assist the treasury team to grow a profitable customer base and to formulate a plan to acquire new business.
• Quote daily FX and FIS rates to internal and external customers.
• Preparing of daily market reports, FX and FIS Profitability reports and updating client base on FX Rates and Interest rates via SMS.
• Preparing the daily P&L of the customer Desk.

Requirements

• Candidates applying for Banking Assistant grade should posses a minimum of 2 years' of baking experience while candidates applying  for officer grade should posses a minimum of 3 years of banking experience.
• Should possess a full or part qualification in Banking  or a relevant professional qualification.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, especially in Excel and power point.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging environment.
• Dynamic and sales oriented personally , with  a  passion to serve clients.
• Ability to take initiative & work independently.
• A team player with positive attitude and good interpersonal skills.
• Profit oriented and a personalty which will ensure enhancing the Bank's image in all treasury dealings.
• Certificate in treasury and Foreign exchange operations conducted by CBSL or Diploma in Treasury and Risk Management conducted by IBSL will be an added advantage.
